Ain’t nothing like a hound dog…
A classic re-imagined by Ambler Custom Guitars. Taking inspiration from the first guitar ever owned by John Ambler, an ’85 Gibson Melody Maker, the ‘Hound Dog’ breathes new life into this much loved design.
As with all the models in the Ambler range, The ‘Hound Dog’ is highly customisable, with an almost limitless choice of woods, finishes and hardware options.

Juliet
Created to be your forbidden love…
Meet Juliet, the hottest chick in the Ambler Custom Guitars library of instruments. Designed with sweeping curves and flowing lines, this is a true modern classic.
Available in multiple build configurations the Juliet offers many choices. Body variants include a standard drop-top, a carved-top and a hollow body version. Add to this hundreds of possible wood combinations, hardware, pickup and control layouts, and this makes for a very versatile instrument to suit any player.
Icarus
The perfect blend of fire & flight!
The Icarus is John’s own take on the classic Firebird design, something John has had in his sights for a number of years.
Keeping with the classic body shape, John has made subtle adjustments that result in increased sustain and extra playability. The headstock has also been redesigned and now seamlessly blends with the body to create a stunning looking Ambler classic.
Solomon
Rich tones and fierce angles!
The Solomon offers huge tone, aggressive styling and fantastic rock playability.
Taking inspiration from the angular lines of great rock guitars of old, The Solomon is a full throttle, hell raising force, honouring the Rock and Metal genres.
All Solomon models are completely handmade to each customers exact requirements.

Based on the iconic Fender Jaguar Bass – the Adonis has been Amblerised, giving it classic styling with incredible attention to detail.

This V gets its name from the mythical child of Loki, Fenrisúlfr. The giant wolf beast scared the gods and was bound by a mythical fetter to a giant stone, where he would stay until Ragnarok. Then he would be unleashed on the enemies of the Gods.

This guitar really is a hand made work of art. Hewn from rippled black limba and quilted Australian blackwood, the Verona marries traditional building techniques with modern design, for a uniquely styled instrument.

Welcome to The Hell Raiser. A Bass designed to create earthquakes and look damn good whilst doing so!
This particular model has a neck through design, utilising book-matched African Blackwood for the front and back with Padauk laminations and a master-grade Flamed Sycamore core. All this attention to detail ensures a beautifully balanced and tonally rich instrument.
