The Icarus is John’s own take on the classic Firebird design, something John has had in his sights for a number of years.

Keeping with the classic body shape, John has made subtle adjustments that result in increased sustain and extra playability. The headstock has also been redesigned and now seamlessly blends with the body to create a stunning looking Ambler classic.

As with all Ambler guitars, the Icarus is available for custom order in various combinations of woods, hardware and pickups.
